Tobu Zoo
Tobu Zoo is a leisure park that combines a zoo with Heartful Garden, where visitors can appreciate a variety of plants, an amusement park, and a pool open only in summer. The zoo is home to approximately 1,200 animals representing about 120 species, including white tigers. Visitors can see the animals up close at events such as Ga-Ga Walking, featuring a parade of geese, and the Hamadryas Baboon Dash, in which a troop of baboons races energetically across its enclosure.
It's about an hour and a half drive from Tokyo, plus a ten-minute walk. There are lots of chances to interact with animals inside—super fun!
