Kurashiki Denim Street

Kurashiki Denim Street is a specialty spot for denim from Kojima, Kurashiki City, known as the birthplace of Japanese-made jeans. It offers a wide range of denim products, including Kojima-made jeans, bags, accessories, and interior goods, with easy-to-shop sections for men, women & kids, and miscellaneous goods. One of its charms is being able to casually experience “Kurashiki denim” while comparing differences in texture and finish.

Kakiya (Miyajima)

A specialty oyster restaurant located in the center of Miyajima Omotesando Shopping Street that leads to Itsukushima shrine. The ”Jigozen oysters” used, boast premium quality Hiroshima Prefecture’s famous oysters. The restaurant is confident of the taste of its oysters, and they are offered with simple seasoning. The signature dish, Yaki-gaki (grilled oyster), cooked at the entrance, is made succulent and juicy by quickly grilling the oysters over high heat! Enjoy them with just the natural saltiness from the sea.
