Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum
A ramen-themed museum featuring regional ramen restaurants from around the world. Sample flavors from renowned restaurants in different regions without boarding a plane. Each restaurant also offers mini ramen, making it easy to compare different varieties.
You have to pay an entrance fee just to try the ramen. Even though the shops are famous, the taste wasn’t anything special.
Oyama Afuri Shrine
Because Mount Oyama is often covered in clouds, it has been revered since ancient times as a sacred mountain where people pray for rain. Oyama Afuri Shrine was built on the mountain and consists of the Lower Shrine and the Main Shrine at the summit. The Lower Shrine is also accessible by cable car.
The view from the mountain is amazing. You can clearly see Mt. Fuji and Enoshima.
Hasedera temple (Kamakura)
Hasedera Temple, often referred to as "Hase Kannon," is known as one of the most scenic spots in Kamakura. The principal deity is the statue of Kannon, the Goddess of Mercy, with 11 faces. Standing at 9.18 meters high, it is one of the largest wooden Buddha statues in Japan.
The temple has beautiful scenery, and the famous 11-faced wooden Kannon statue is truly majestic.
Kamakura Music Box Museum
Kamakura is a popular tourist destination that is home to many shrines, temples, historic buildings, as well as a blend of old-fashioned cityscape with modern cafes and shops. Kamakura Music Box Museum is in front of Hase Temple, a 5-minute walk from Hase Station, which is home to the Great Buddha of Kamakura.
You can hear all kinds of music boxes playing different tunes, which is really soothing. The designs are super unique, and everything is made in Japan.
