    The difference between good weather and bad weather is huge. Coming on a sunny day really makes it so much better.

    Right next to Odori Park—such a great location. You’ll definitely spot it if you’re walking by. The exterior feels a bit dated, but in a good way—it has that classic old-landmark vibe.

    Compared to all the historic sites in Kyoto, this place really doesn’t feel “Kyoto” at all.
    Looks pretty ordinary during the day, but it’s a bit easier on the eyes once it’s lit up at night.

    The architecture is super grand—totally different from the traditional Kyoto you might be imagining.

  • The weather here is cool and comfortable, and the shopping center is huge—it's like a whole city.

  • Come in the evening after it gets dark to enjoy the cherry blossoms lit up at night!

    This is my top cherry blossom spot in Tokyo! It's right on the west side of the Imperial Palace, and you can even row a boat while admiring the cherry blossoms on both sides.

  • This is the hot spring closest to the sky in Japan. It's one of the few high-altitude hot spring resorts in the country, and it has the highest sulfur content in Japan.
