There is no better attraction than the natural landscape of Lake Toya in Hokkaido. The area around a caldera lake, Lake Toya , and an active volcano, Mt.Usu, was designated as the Toya- Usu Unesco Global Geopark in UNESCO Global Geopark.
The dynamics of nature are a highlight created by volcanic activity erupting once a few decades. Walking on the Mt.Usu Nishiyama Foot Route, you can feel first-hand the volcanic power of Mt. Usu-Nishiyama erupted on March 31st, 2000. The Foot Route has the north and south entrances, one way is 1.2km long and about 60 minutes for walking (opened April 20th- the end of November and closed in winter).
The uplifted ground and broken blacktops are vivid examples of the damages by tectonic activity of the 2000 eruption, it is a suitable site to witness the destruction and regeneration by volcanic activity. The fare is free, the location is accessible by a 5- minute ride by car from around the Lake Toya Onsen and a 13-minute ride by car from Toya station.
Around the area, spa hotels have water characteristics of compromising sodium and calcium-chloride, and restaurants serving dishes with a lot of local food caught from the sea or farm, which are recommended to enjoy a relaxing stay.

終年不結冰的北海道溫泉湖 , 中間的洞爺湖中島第一次看到的時候認真覺得超像HERSHEYS
Kisses巧克力 , 在洞爺湖的後面看起來超像富士山的叫做羊蹄山(又叫蝦夷富士山)整個洞爺湖畔周遭有相當多的景點:
1 有珠山纜車(火車)
2 昭和新山熊牧場
3 夜晚夏季有遊船+煙火
冬季有流星燈光步道
4 自由行的話還能在這邊去初學者等級的滑雪場
整個洞爺湖認真玩起來的話漫遊的時間玩個三天兩夜都會認為不足夠呢~
北海道地區有名的溫泉勝地，周邊有有珠山、昭和新山、熊牧場很多好玩的景點。
早上起床沿著湖邊公園散步，空氣清新景色超好。
夏天的夜晚每天都會有花火大會，繽紛燦爛讓人目不暇給，而煙火是在航行的船上施放，只要是住在湖邊的飯店都能觀賞得到。
