Saga International Balloon Fiesta

The Saga International Balloon Fiesta is held on the riverbanks of the Kase River in the eastern part of Saga Prefecture and takes place over five days every autumn. With over 120 participating teams each year, renowned pilots and crews from around the world gather for this event. As the largest sky sports event in Asia, it draws more than 800,000 visitors.

Water Park Fukushimagata

Water Station View Fukushimagata

Morioka Tsunagi Onsen

Located along the shores of Lake Gosho-formed by damming the Shizukuishi River-Morioka Tsunagi Onsen is a historic hot spring town with a legacy stretching back over 1,000 years. According to legend, it was discovered by General Minamoto no Yoshiie during the Late Heian period. During the Former Nine Years' War in Mutsu Province, he made camp here and tethered his horse to a stone with a hole in it while bathing-hence the name “Tsunagi” (meaning "to tie").

Yurigahama Beach

Yurigahama Beach is a sandbar located about 1.5 kilometers off the coast of Oganeku Beach on Yoron Island. It appears only during low tide from spring to autumn, depending on the tides, making it a "phantom beach." Its appearance varies in time, location, and size, and once the tide rises, it vanishes back into the sea.
