Mizunomori Park
A vast natural park spanning Aoba Ward and Izumi Ward in Sendai City, centered around the water-rich Sankyotei and Marutasawatei ponds, with natural forests of Japanese red pine and konara oak spreading throughout. Selected as one of Sendai City's 100 Best Green Scenic Spots, it serves as a relaxing place for locals to enjoy lush greenery and waterside nature.
Lots of greenery and very peaceful. It’s a great place for a walk, to take it slow, and just clear your mind.
The park is very clean and not too crowded with tourists. If you want to sit, chat, or enjoy the scenery, it feels really relaxing. It’s the kind of park locals probably come back to often.
