Kairakuen Garden
Built by Mito Domain’s 9th feudal lord, Tokugawa Nariaki. One of Japan’s three famous gardens along with Kenrokuen in Kanazawa and Korakuen in Okayama.
This place is truly as beautiful as a painting. While walking around, you can even catch a faint scent of plum blossoms. I really recommend coming here to enjoy the plum blossoms in full bloom.
Sanrio Puroland
Guests can meet Sanrio characters like Hello Kitty and My Melody at this indoor theme park. Sanrio characters put on authentic performances like shows and parades that mix stories, dances, and songs together.
I absolutely love Sanrio products! This place really brought out my inner child. Plus, since it’s indoors, I didn’t have to worry about the weather messing up my plans. I seriously love it here—definitely made the right choice coming!
