Before you even get to the entrance, you can see the huge lines of people. This museum requires a reservation to enter, so you can’t visit without one.
Even so, the surrounding forest is picturesque. Just walking from the station to the museum is a wonderful experience in itself. If you’re a traveler looking to experience the atmosphere of Japan, this place is well worth a visit.

Sensoji Temple
This iconic destination in Asakusa sees as many as 30 million visitors each year. It stands as a well-loved mainstay in Tokyo, all while hosting a number of annual traditions like the first temple visit at New Years, Setsubun and more across the year.
Sensoji Temple is definitely worth visiting. Don’t spend too much time at the street stalls near the entrance right away—the temple itself is the real highlight. It has a striking presence that really lets you feel a sense of awe, and almost every time I go, it’s packed with people.
