I figured I had to try the famous local Kobe beef while in Kobe. Just a little salt brings out the pure flavor—the meat was so tender, it practically melted in my mouth. Thanks to the staff's explanation, I learned I was actually eating Tajima beef from Hyogo Prefecture, which was also delicious.
