Restaurant Ajitetsu Maiko

The Ajitetsu restaurant is located in Maiko Park, Kobe, and is known their carefully selected Japanese Black Wagyu beef raised in Japan. This world-renown high quality Kobe beef is served in a variety of styles; grilled steak, shabu-shabu (a hotpot dish with thinly sliced beef cooked in boiling water), yakiniku BBQ, sukiyaki (a simmered hotpot dish with a soy sauce and sugar base)
At auction, livestock professionals buy an entire steer or virgin cow bred from the blood line of the Japanese Black Wagyu. The beef is then carefully aged and not served until the timing is right and the flavor is maximized. You can then enjoy this special beef, perfectly prepared and served according to the different cuts of meat.
The Ajitestu’s distinctly curved “magical” iron plate presents the beef in the best and most tasteful manner. The restaurant also serves Amiyaki, or BBQ grill at the table.
While eating, you can look out the windows at the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and a luscious green forest, especially spectacular at sunset.
They also offer zashiki style seating, sitting on the floor, for bigger groups as well as regular table seats.
