Take your time climbing up. The higher you go, the more the scenery changes. It only takes a little over an hour to reach the top, and it's not tiring at all.

The pond, wooden bridges, and stone lanterns create a really nice atmosphere. It doesn't get super crowded like some big tourist spots, so it's really comfortable to walk around.

The nearby shops sell grilled mochi that's crispy on the outside and soft inside—so delicious!

I took a boat from Yanagawa to visit here. The blend of Japanese and Western styles in the residence is really beautiful and unique.
