Kinkaku-ji is one of Kyoto’s most iconic spots! The main highlight is the Shariden, which is covered in gold leaf and looks stunning. The building is actually a reliquary hall that holds Buddha’s ashes.

There are tons of stores here, from clothing and beauty to lifestyle goods and restaurants. Super relaxing to walk around! The layout is pretty easy to follow, so you won't get lost. The AC is nice and cool, and there are plenty of places to sit and chill. It's perfect for grabbing a bite while you shop, or just hanging out to cool off. Honestly, you could spend hours here and end up buying way more than you planned!

You can tell it's different from the first bite. The wrapper is made from egg, which looks simple, but the taste is truly top-notch old-school style. 👍
