[Closed Down] A Yakiniku Place That Vegetarians Frequent!? Introducing BUTAMAJIN Ikebukuro!
As its name suggests, BUTAMAJIN Ikebukuro is a Tokyo restaurant specializing in Yakiniku, or grilled pork, since BUTA means "pork" in Japanese.
However, since the owner wished that people who eat meat and those who don't could gather around the same table, this is the first Yakiniku restaurant in Japan to offer a menu that's 1/3 vegetarian!
This menu uses the products of Vegetarian Butcher, a luxury brand from Holland which is now a hot topic around the world, as it is popular with celebrities. Their FAKE MEAT items are mainly made of soybeans.
In addition to vegetarians, this is a place where health-conscious people, as well as dieters, can safely eat!
