  Every year from winter to spring, the "Jewellumination" is held at Yomiuriland, offering an experience like no other. This event is one of the largest illumination events in the Kanto region, transforming the entire Yomiuriland amusement park into a dream-like space aglow with dazzling lights. Unique to Yomiuriland is the opportunity to enjoy the illuminations while riding on the attractions.

  You can enjoy both day and night! What are the highlights of Yomiuriland, one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in Tokyo?

  Yomiuriland, a historic amusement park representing Tokyo, is also famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot with cherry trees in full bloom. During the cherry blossom season, the park is filled with approximately 1,000 cherry trees, including Somei-Yoshino, yamazakura (wild cherry), and shidare-zakura (weeping cherry). From March 19 to April 7, 2024, the park will host the "Night Cherry Blossom Jewellumination," an event where visitors can see gorgeous nighttime cherry blossoms.

  Visiting YOMIURILAND on a winter night.

  I visited the YOMIURILAND amusement park to see the Jewellumination (Jewel illumination) .I was especially impressed with the attractions “Light on dance” and “Water fountain fantasy created by the light and sound”.
