Tsutsuji azaleas bloom in the spring, hydrangeas blossom in early summer, and camellias reach full bloom in the winter.
It’s especially famous for hydrangeas. In June, about 3,000,000 blossoms bloom on 150,000 bushes. A festival is also held at this time, drawing lively crowds.
From the observation decks, take in spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.
