Fukusen the Flagship Restaurant

A restaurant where one can enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine, using seasonal seafood caught in Shimotsui harbor. The restaurant is especially famous for dishes using Shimotsui’s specialty octopus, cooked in various ways and enjoyed as octopus kamameshi (Japanese iron pot rice), shabu-shabu (Japanese nabemono hotpot), sashimi and karaage (deep fried).

From a single serving of sushi to a variety of Gozen (set meals) and full-scale banquets, there is a menu suitable for a range of occasions, and it is nice to have authentic Japanese cuisine at a reasonable price.

As well as table seating, there are zashiki seating (Japanese style sitting area) and seating where one can see the Seto Ohashi Bridge (Great Seto Bridge) from the window.
