Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho offers a wide variety of Osaka's representative dishes such as okonomiyaki, takoyaki, and kushikatsu (skewered pork cutlets). "Botejyu" is an okonomiyaki restaurant with over 70 years of history, "Kushikatsu Ryori KATSU", established in 1960, and "Aizuya" is the original takoyaki (octopus balls) restaurant in Tamade, Nishinari-ku, "Momodani Ikayakiya" is the original grilled squid restaurant in Momodani shopping district, "Jiyuken" is Naniwa's famous curry restaurant, and "Hokkyokusei” is a long-established Western-style restaurant where omelet rice originated. About 15 long-established and famous restaurants in Kansai are gathered here. You don't have to go all over Osaka to taste the Osaka gourmet food, but in just one place here.

If you are not sure which restaurant to choose, we recommend you to take a look around the facility. “Naniwa Kuishinbo Yokocho”is a reproduction of the streetscape of downtown Osaka around 1965, and you will surely enjoy just wandering around the facility. As you walk by the three-wheeled truck at the entrance, you will see tall red posts, wooden electric poles, enameled signs on the walls, and other detailed features.

There are places where you can feel the atmosphere of children playing "Ken-Ken-Pa (hopscotch)" in the street, and areas that remind you of old movie theaters.
As you walk along, you will feel as if you have completely arrived in Osaka in the nostalgic Showa era.

This is a facility where you can enjoy the atmosphere of streets of the Showa era and fill your stomach so you can enjoy twice in one visit. Admission is free. There are other activities nearby, such as Kaiyukan, one of the world's largest aquariums, and the 100-meter diameter Tempozan Ferris Wheel, so be sure to include them in your plans.
