“Nukumori no Mori" is a medieval European landscape that looks like something out of a picture book. The late architect Shigeyoshi Sasaki spent more than 20 years carefully creating this warm and welcoming space. The small stone house and antique furniture imported from Europe create a fairytale-like atmosphere. It is also a popular spot for wedding photos. The forest has store huts surrounded by greenery. Some of them are water mill huts or huts with mushroom-like silhouettes.
At the park's restaurant, you can enjoy Chef Terada's creative French courses that incorporate a lot of local seasonal ingredients. Seating is limited, so reservations are recommended. The chef is happy to discuss allergies and preferences.
Nukumori no Mori's most popular product, "Forest Cheesecake Shop" is handmade in the workshop using local fruits and Hokkaido cream cheese. It is also available by mail order to enjoy at home.
There is also a gelato store, an aroma store, and a general store, as well as well-kept gardens that should not be missed. If it's your birthday, you can get free admission. Why not spend an unforgettable birthday in the world of fairy tales?
