Nasu Kogen Rindo Lake Family Ranch

This is an amusement park located around Lake Rindo, the only lake in the Nasu Highlands, and offers visitors the opportunity to interact with animals and nature.
There is a ranch in the park where you can experience unique activities such as milking Jersey cows, horseback riding, and alpaca walking. Some unique farm foods, such as soft-serve ice cream made from rich, high-quality jersey milk, are available in the cafe area. There are also hands-on activities such as making butter and ice cream. You can fully appreciate the farm’s charm by seeing, touching, and tasting it.

There are over 25 different attractions, the most popular of which is the thrilling “Zipline KAKKU” over the lake, which is one of the longest in Japan at 220 meters each way. Other attractions include the “Big Wheel Ranransha,” a Ferris wheel that gives you a bird’s-eye view of the park, and the “Dinosaur Adventure Walk,” where participants answer questions about dinosaurs as they walk.

If you have extra time in your schedule, staying at the glamping and camping sites is also recommended. The star-filled sky created by Nasu Highland’s clean air is spectacular, and it should be seen as a memento of your visit. Firework shows are also held on occasion, so enjoy the contrast between the night sky and the fireworks.
