Hotel Tenbo is situated in a perfect location to enjoy a strolling about the Ikaho hot spring town. It is only a 10 minute walk from the town’s main street with its long path of stone steps and stands quite near the Yumeji Takehisa Ikaho Memorial. Quite popular is the Appare Bathhouse with two types of hot spring water from Ikaho Onsen (Golden Water and Silver Water).

The large bathhouse, covering an area of approximately 3,000 m2, offers 10 unique baths (for men and women), and makes for a popular and convenient hot-spring tour. There are rock baths consisting of 600 tons of Sanba-seki, the stone designated as a Natural Monument, as well family baths and an open-air bath for private use.

Guests can choose from among five dining options, all using seasonal ingredients from the Jyoshu area. Choices include authentic kaiseki cuisine served in the private dining room and a buffet of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes in the dining room.

There are 183 guest rooms including Japanese and western mixed style rooms as well as rooms with an open-air bath, all of which were renovated in 2020. Find one to suit your style for a comfortable stay. The hotel also offers footbaths and spa massage services to relieve one’s fatigue from a long travel day.
