This theme park is as big as four Tokyo Domes, featuring Akita‘s art, culture, gourmet food and more. Try hands-on experiences to discover Akita’s charms. It is a fun place for families and couples to spend all day.
Within the village, there is the Akita Museum of Modern Art, a craft museum where you can see the “skills” of Akita, Wonder Castle with AR trick art, Spacia, an igloo-shaped planetarium, and a workshop to try Akita crafts yourself. Outside, Wanpaku Area has a playground with a jungle gym and swings. A red train-shaped bus “Max Train '' takes you around the wide premises.
The largest souvenir shop in Akita, Furusato Ichiba (Hometown Market), has all souvenirs sold in Akita. The local gourmet food, Yokote Stir-fried Noodles, Inaniwa Udon Noodles, Hinai Chicken Ramen, etc. are served at Mogumogu Hiroba (Square) and Furusato Ryorikan Restaurant.
