Kashima Soccer Museum
A museum next to the stadium showcasing the victories of the Kashima Antlers soccer team, one of the finest in the Japan League.
Kashima Soccer Museum is located in Kashima City, at the South East of Ibaraki prefecture. This museum showcases the history of the Japan League Kashima Antlers Soccer Club, who had Kashima City as their hometown. The museum is located adjacent to Ibaraki Kashima Soccer Stadium.
Once visitors step inside the museum, they will be surrounded by murals of some memorable quotes from the one and only Zico. He was a legendary player in the Antlers, and he is currently its technical director. Using the three keywords of the “Zico Spirit”, “Trabalho”, “Lealdade”, “Respeito”, one can feel the world of the Antlers, and the passion of Zico.
In the main exhibit space of the museum, visitors can see up-close views of the champion flag, the winner’s cup, and shoes of legendary players. There are also several exhibits in timeline style that show the rise of the Antlers, with photos of players.
There is also a next-level interactive multiplayer attraction that uses next-gen sensor and projection mapping technology. Soccer fans will no doubt feel excited about the space.
