Chirihama Nagisa Driveway

This is one of the few roads in the world along a sandy beach that can be driven on.
The 8-kilometer-long road runs along the beach and can be driven not only by car but also by motorcycle or bicycle.
The finely packed sand particles make driving along the beach like a scene from a movie, and it is especially moving to watch the sun set.

During the squid fishing season, the lights of the fish-attracting torches on the boats line up on the darkened surface of the sea, creating a fantastic sight as if another driveway has appeared.

In summer, the beach is popular as a swimming beach, and during the season it is divided into a swimming area, parking lot, and driveway, in order from the ocean side.
Traffic regulations such as speed and overtaking restrictions are also in place, so be careful when driving.

You can also enjoy barbecues and pitch your tents throughout the year, but it is important to observe good manners, such as taking garbage home with you and using utensils instead of lighting fires directly on the sand.
