In Furano, Hokkaido where hardly any houses are seen, there is a rolling road that suddenly falls down and sharply goes up like a roller coaster.
Mt. Tokachi is in the distance and the picturesque countryside stretches along the road. Many visitors mention that this was the best place to visit in Hokkaido, and it is becoming a tourist site, where the landscape along the side roads is even better.
In winter, the area is covered with white snow as far as the eye can see - a beauty like nothing else.
