Biei Town is famous for its hills. There are many famous trees in Biei Town, and one of the most widely known is the "Seven Star Tree."
The tree was adopted as a package for Seven Star tourist cigarettes in 1976 and thus came to be called the Seven Star Tree. It is a popular photo spot and the "Birch Trees" that line the street next to it.
In this area where the Seven Star Tree is located, each plot is planted with multiple crops, and the colorful landscape is known as "Patchwork Road. " You can enjoy the scenery that is typical of Biei, such as early summer when you can enjoy the patchwork path, midsummer when the ears of wheat are swaying, and in winter when the Seven Star Tree stands quietly in the pure white snowfield.
One of the most attractive features of this place is that you can enjoy the beautiful northern scenery differently with each season you visit.
