The hotel is located in a corner of the "Mifuneyama Rakuen" garden, created by Shigeyoshi Nabeshima, the lord of Takeo in the late Edo period. It offers stunning views that change with the seasons—from flowers and autumn leaves to snowy landscapes—with the backdrop of the Mifuneyama cliffs, all visible from its guest rooms and large bath.

The main building has been partially renovated, adding to the existing rooms. It features sauna-equipped rooms with striking Nordic design and stylish rooms that maximize the enjoyment of the natural scenery outside the windows. Guests can also stay in a detached Japanese-style room with a study, relocated from the Nabeshima family's annex, "Naigura." The large bathhouse, using the waters of Takeo Onsen, includes open-air baths close to nature, as well as a comprehensive sauna facility with dry, mist, and herbal steam saunas. There's also a cold bath and a tea room, allowing guests to fully relax and rejuvenate.

In the lobby of the main building, there's an exhibit by the globally acclaimed art collective "teamLab." This must-see fantastical light art, consisting of countless lamps that change color in response to people's movements, creates an enchanting atmosphere.
