Taibokaku is a culinary ryokan in Nagoya, Chinzei Town, Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture. It stands on a hill overlooking the abundant natural scenery of Genkai Quasi-National Park. One of its charms is enjoying seafood cuisine while gazing out at the Genkai Sea.

The ryokan serves kaiseki meals centered on locally caught seafood, including Yobuko's local specialty, live squid. For dinner, there are also seasonal limited-time courses featuring dishes such as sashimi made with seasonal fish, Saga beef, Karatsu Q Saba, and live abalone. Private dining rooms are available to suit the number of guests and the occasion. You can enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace in a calm setting. Breakfast is a Japanese set meal, where you can also try horse mackerel mirin-dried fish, a popular local souvenir item.
