Last update :

This seaside tourist product shop has an impressive exterior designed after the letter A of Aomori. It features not only Aomori’s local specialty products, but also traditional crafts and their demonstrations, the life-like 360° 3D video theater which shares Aomori’s festivals and four seasons, and many more entertainments.

The 1st floor houses Aomori’s local sake, sweets made with Aomori apples and other local specialties, souvenirs, and an array of seafood products. Besides food, there are a lot of Tugaru Ware with layered lacquer made mainly in Hirosaki City, Tsugaru Koginzashi stitchwork, traditional glass craft, Tsugaru Vidro, and other Aomori’s traditional arts.

The 2nd floor is for hands-on experience. The powerful 360° 3D digital video theater shows Nebuta Festivals and Aomori’s four seasons, and a demonstration corner shares the traditional craft developed by women in the northern region, Tsugaru Kogin Zashi stitchwork.

The observation deck on the 13th floor affords a 51m-high sweeping view over Aomori City, Tsugaru Peninsula and Mutsu Bay.
