Dolphin Fantasy Ishigaki Island

A hands-on facility where you can play with dolphins, located about 5 minutes by car from the Remote Island terminal and about 30 minutes by car from Ishigaki Airport. You can feel like a trainer and interact with dolphins by feeding them directly, and giving them cues for shaking hands or jumping. You can catch a glimpse of the dolphins' expressions, which are completely different from those seen on TV or in aquariums, and a perfect way of creating memories.

The standard "Dolphin Swim" course takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes, including meeting time. After listening to a preliminary briefing, we will move to the holding tanks where the dolphins are kept. The trainer will introduce the names of the dolphins and give you a lecture on how to play with them. There is also time for a commemorative photo, which you can take with your own camera. The fee is the same for both adults and children. Children younger than 6 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, but children 4 years old and up are welcome to participate.

If you want to take pictures from a close distance of your family members participating in the festival, or if you are worried about having your children participate alone, there is a course that allows you to come down in the holding tank and observe standing right next to the participants, so please feel relaxed.
