Kankoku Hiroba

This Korean grocery store is located in Shin-Okubo Korean Town, where many Korean restaurants line the streets.
Boasting a total floor space of more than 150 tsubo (approx. 495m2), it is one of the largest Korean grocery stores in Japan.
In addition to fresh vegetables and meats, the store stocks a wide variety of ingredients essential to Korean cuisine, such as Korean pumpkin, Perilla leaves, and red chili peppers.
Homemade products are also popular, such as gejang (raw blue crab cured in salt and marinated in sauce.) and crispy oi kimchi made with fresh cucumbers.
The traditional Korean cooking method makes it easy to enjoy the authentic taste of Korea.

In addition to gochujang, a standard Korean seasoning made mainly from red chili peppers with malted rice and other ingredients, there is also a wide variety of seasonings such as samjang, a slightly sweet combined soybean paste essential for dipping sauce for samgyeopsal, and beef broth that is the key to the taste of Korean soup.
Most of the ingredients and seasonings are imported directly from Korea. Korean soju, soft drinks, corn tea, jujube tea, and many other traditional teas that have been popular in Korea for centuries are also available.
In addition to Korean foodstuffs, there is also a wide selection of Korean tableware and household goods.
