This aquarium, with its liberating view of the Sea of Japan, offers a variety of ocean-related experiences. The aquarium offers many unique attractions, such as daily performance shows and a space where visitors can try their hand at catching and eating horse mackerel on the spot.
"Kinosaki Marine World" offers a total of ten different attractions. The "Dolphin and Sea Lion Show," featuring a powerful stage performance with the Sea of Japan in the background, "Steller's Sea Lion Diving," in which sea lions dive from a steep rocky hill, and "Penguin Walking," in which cute penguins stroll about, are held every day. In addition, there is the "Fish Dance" where visitors can observe the amazing behavior of fish and experience feeding them.
In addition to the attractions, another very popular activity is "horse mackerel fishing," where visitors can eat the horse mackerels they catch on the spot. Visitors can fish for horse mackerel with a rental fishing rod and taste the catch as tempura (660 yen per rod with bait, 60 yen per fish for tempura processing amount).
