Nagasaki Dejima Wharf

A 150-meter-long deck stretches out in front of the two-story buildings, offering sweeping views of Nagasaki Port, including ferries and cruise ships arriving and departing, as well as yachts moored in the harbor. The observation deck that connects the two buildings is an exceptional vantage point where you can see Mount Inasa and the Megami Bridge. At night, the illuminated port and sailing ships create a romantic atmosphere that’s not to be missed.

Inside the complex, a diverse selection of restaurants awaits-seafood eateries serving fresh local catch, specialty coffee cafés, Italian gelato shops, and more. With plenty of terrace seating, you can enjoy meals and drinks while taking in the beautiful scenery both day and night.

There is also an information center offering details on Nagasaki’s attractions and World Heritage Sites, and the location provides easy access to other bay-area spots such as the Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum and Nagasaki Mizube-no-Mori Park.
