Located in Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture, "Osuka Beach" stretches for approximately 2.3km with its vast expanse of white sandy shoreline. One of its distinctive features is the "singing sand" phenomenon, where the sand emits a squeaking sound (known as "narusuna") when walked upon. This is said to be a sign of clean, low-impurity sand. While the sound is less pronounced compared to the past, you can still hear the distinctive squeak if you walk carefully.

Although recognized as one of "Japan's Top 100 Beaches," swimming is prohibited due to often rough waves. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks along the silky sands or dip their toes in the water. Additionally, the beach is part of the trail course that circles around the scenic "Tanesashi Coast," known for its breathtaking views, attracting trekkers from spring to autumn. Nearby attractions include the "Ashigezaki Observation Deck," offering panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, and the lush "Nakasuka" area, home to over 600 species of coastal and alpine plants.
