Norn Minakami Ski Resort

Approximately 90 minutes from Nerima IC to Minakami IC on the Kan-Etsu Expressway, then about 5 minutes to the ski resort from there. It's easily accessible from Tokyo's city center, and the extended hours from morning to night, allowing for up to 17 hours of skiing, are a real bonus.

The resort's peak altitude reaches 1,220m, with a vertical drop of 400m, offering a variety of courses that cater to all levels from beginners to advanced skiers. For the experts, there's the A course with its thrilling, steep, and un-groomed deep snow. Intermediate skiers can enjoy the high-speed descent from the rough terrain at the top on the B course or transition to the varied inclines of the E course's flat burn.

The "Snow Park," equipped with features enjoyable even for beginners, offers daily paid park lessons. "Snow Land" provides numerous snow attractions suitable for kids experiencing snow play for the first time.
