[Public exhibition ended] Toshiba Science Museum

All the smiles of “Interaction between People and Science” come together at the Toshiba Science Museum a Toshiba Group hub for cutting-edge science and technology. Find this spot adjacent to the mega retailer Lazona Kawasaki Plaza, an easy stopover with direct connection to JR Kawasaki Station.

Step inside to find the Welcome Area and large screen, followed by three themed zones that showcase the latest and great scientific and technological innovations. Drop by the History Zone for a chronological timeline of Toshiba's milestones, including Japan's and the world's first electrical appliances produced by the company. Over at the Future Zone you’ll find hand-on corners featuring advanced technology from Toshiba, complete with revamped infrastructure innovations like electricity, railways, elevators, and escalators for familiar and fascinating fun. The Science Zone allows visitors to experience the fun of science firsthand through static electricity demonstrations and superconductivity experiments using liquid nitrogen at -196°C. The on-stage science shows, themed around science in everyday life, are always a hit.

Indoor fun means plenty of ways to explore rain or shine, even for the novice scientist. There’s even an exhibit displaying generations of Toshiba's products, as Japan's first comprehensive electrical manufacturer, that you won’t want to miss. The museum is a free-entry spot enjoyed by all ages.
