With “art” as its theme, this takeout-style cafe hosts events and special menu items in collaboration with local Yokohama artists.

The signature item is the adorable elephant-shaped “Zou-no-Hana Soft Serve.” With waffle ears and chocolate-chip eyes, it’s known for its rich flavor made with Hokkaido milk. They also offer sweets like elephant-themed scones and cookies.

They also have a great selection of light meals made with locally sourced ingredients. “Naan Pizza” and the “Kamakura Ham Sandwich (3 Varieties)” are popular for their gentle flavors that bring out the ingredients’ natural taste. Enjoy them with seasonal drinks or Yokohama’s local craft beer, “Zou-no-Hana Beer.”

The cafe is located in the rest area of Zou-no-Hana Park, a park created to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the opening of Yokohama Port. This area is a historic site where Commodore Perry visited Japan again in 1854, after which Yokohama became a major port open to foreign trade. The name is said to come from the shape of the breakwater, which resembled an elephant’s trunk.

It’s a comfortable place to stop by and take a break between sightseeing.
