Enoki-Tei Main Store

Located about a 7-minute walk from the Motomachi-Chukagai station on the Minatomirai subway line, this long-standing patisserie sits atop the hills of Yokohama's Yamate area. The Western-style building constructed in 1927 preserves the charm of Yamate from its days as a foreign settlement, making it a perfect spot to spend an elegant moment. The first floor is a café, while the second floor houses private rooms (that can accommodate up to 6 people) and a sweets shop, where you can also buy souvenirs.

The classic "Afternoon Tea Set" (only available in private rooms and by reservation) includes homemade cakes, traditional scones, sandwiches, and their original blend of tea. The cakes, generously made with seasonal fruits, come in a wide variety, pleasing to the eye. Don't miss out on their popular items like the rare cheesecake and British-style scones, which have been made using recipes handed down since the shop opened.
