Perched on a hill overlooking the beautiful sea of Matsushima, one of Japan’s Three Scenic Views, this resort hotel offers a memorable stay. Many guest rooms face Matsushima Bay, so you can take in Matsushima’s magical scenery, from sunrise and sunset to mist-covered views, without leaving your room. Room types include Japanese-style, Western-style, and Japanese-Western rooms, making it a great fit for families, couples, and group travelers alike.
The hotel’s bathing facilities help soothe away the fatigue of travel with a spacious public bath and an open-air bath overlooking the islands of Matsushima. The especially impressive open-air bath, with its boldly extended tub, offers sweeping views of Matsushima Bay, and depending on the season, you may even be able to watch the sunrise from the bath.
Dinner comes in a wide lineup, including kaiseki cuisine made with local Sanriku ingredients, a Japanese, Western, and Chinese buffet, and a Japanese-style seafood buffet. Lunch is also available for day-use plans, with Western, Japanese, and Chinese options (Chinese is available on weekends and national holidays only). The hotel’s main Western dining venue, Shiosai, is located on the top floor, where you can enjoy a luxurious time while taking in the grand view of Matsushima Bay.

We are unable to offer early check-in. Late check-out is available for 1,100 yen per 30 minutes (until 12:00pm), but please note that it may not be available on some dates.

There is a paved parking lot for Approx. 200 cars. If it is full, we will direct you to the second or third parking lots (unpaved). Please note that all parking lots are outdoors. If you are arriving by motorcycle, please also note that there is no indoor parking available.

Room-only stays are not available. Reservations can be made for one night with breakfast or one night with two meals.
