Grand Mercure Yatsugatake Resort & Spa
Enjoy a highland resort stay surrounded by the great nature of Yatsugatake.
A stay-style resort embraced by magnificent nature, with views of Yatsugatake, the Southern Alps, and Mt. Fuji. Guests can enjoy a luxurious time soaking in hot springs and Yamanashi cuisine while taking in seasonal mountain scenery. One of its biggest draws is the chance to fully experience nature on the property, with spots such as the rooftop "Yatsugatake SoRa Deck" offering 360-degree views and the forest walking path "Saezuri no Komichi."
The hot spring is a sodium bicarbonate spring known as a "beautifying bath." You can relax and soothe your fatigue in an atmospheric setting, including an open-air hot spring bath and a spacious indoor bath. Breakfast and dinner are both served buffet-style, featuring freshly prepared dishes from the live kitchen as well as plenty of local flavors such as Yamanashi’s regional specialty, hoto noodles (available seasonally).
There are also plenty of family-friendly facilities, including the kids’ space "Mori no 8," which offers play areas tailored to different ages. From a drift trike circuit and bouldering wall to a soft play zone for preschoolers, children can play to their heart’s content in this all-weather indoor space. For a more luxurious stay, the all-inclusive plan is recommended, with breakfast and dinner buffets, drinks and snacks in the lounge, and even hot spring and activity fees included (some items require an extra fee, and meal availability varies by plan).
