CRAFEAT

An experiential restaurant centered on traditional crafts, including Wajima lacquerware.

Supervised by :  CRAFEAT

Run by Taya Shikki-ten, a long-established Wajima lacquerware shop with more than 200 years of history, this restaurant offers a new style of dining where you can enjoy both food and craftsmanship. True to its name, a blend of "CRAFT" and "EAT," the dishes served here are presented on tableware representing Ishikawa, including Wajima lacquerware, Kutani ware, Suzu ware, and Kanazawa gold leaf.

The first floor operates as a casual modern Japanese bar, offering a la carte dishes such as assorted Kanazawa oden, Kaga nama-fu dengaku with miso, and Noto log-grown shiitake mushroom confit, along with Japanese sake. The second floor is by reservation only and serves course meals focused on Ishikawa Prefecture’s traditional crafts, ingredients, and cooking techniques. On both floors, you can enjoy menus packed with ingredients from Ishikawa Prefecture.

With a calm atmosphere and limited seating, just 6 seats on the first floor and 8 on the second, this is the kind of place to take your time savoring both the luxurious tableware and the cuisine prepared by a head chef trained at a number of restaurants.
