Funakata Farm
Enjoy hands-on time with small animals and menu items made with ingredients from the farm.
This sightseeing ranch sits in a spot overlooking Tokusagamine, also known as Nagato Fuji. Pastoral scenery spreads across the grounds, where cows graze freely. Even a walk through the clear air feels refreshing, and spending relaxed time in nature is part of its charm. The ranch also has a small animal house where visitors can feed rabbits, as well as open spaces, making it a place both children and adults can enjoy all day.
Another highlight is the menu made with ingredients produced on the farm. At the farm cafe, you can enjoy the "Chacogri Burger," made with a 100% Funakata beef house-made patty carefully grilled over charcoal, as well as the farm's special pizzas, sausages, and milk. For groups of at least 20 people, the barbecue featuring the farm's own beef and rice is especially recommended.
The shop is lined with original farm-made products, including dairy items such as milk, yogurt, cheese, and cultured butter, along with processed foods like sausages, ham, and bacon. The special soft-serve ice cream made with plenty of milk is also popular and is a must-try when you visit.
