Surrounded by mountains on three sides, this highland resort enjoys spectacular views of the Kirishima Mountain Range and Mount Karakuni. Along with its abundant hot springs, it is also popular as a base for hiking, pond walks, and trekking.

The hot springs are natural, free-flowing waters supplied directly from the source and nourished by the Kirishima Mountain Range. Together with the crisp highland air, they offer a relaxing way to soothe both body and mind. The hotel features a large public bath, a sauna, and private baths exclusively for guests. From the open-air bath, you can gaze up at a sky full of stars. Meals featuring local ingredients such as Miyazaki-grown Hinata beef and Kobyashi-produced black pork are also popular, with dishes including shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, and kimchi hot pot. The lunch buffet is also a favorite and is open to non-staying guests as well.

There are 38 guest rooms in total. Options range from Japanese-style, Western-style, and Japanese-Western rooms with the warmth of wood to barrier-free rooms. There are also plenty of activities for enjoying nature, including rentals of electric buggies and kick scooters.
