99glam

Located in Nikaho City, Akita Prefecture, 99glam is Akita’s first dome-style glamping facility, opened in 2023. It stands in a nature-rich setting in the Dewa Chokai area, with Mount Chokai to the south and the Sea of Japan to the west. One of its biggest draws is the chance to enjoy hotel-like comfort along with the openness that only the outdoors can offer.

There are three types of guest rooms, Standard, Premium, and Dog for stays with your pet dog, and all can accommodate up to four guests. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and a refrigerator, making for a comfortable stay in any season. The terrace of each dome has an authentic gas grill, where you can enjoy BBQ made with ingredients from Nikaho and Akita Prefecture.

There are also a wide variety of experience programs, including nature-guided tours around the spring water flowing from Mount Chokai, trekking in the Fuyushi Wetlands, and stargazing at Nikaho Highlands. Guests can use the Nikaho Onsen at the adjacent ryokan Ichie free of charge, and can even catch local fish at the izakaya with a fishing pond and add it to their BBQ. This is a place where you can fully experience the nature and food culture of Nikaho, with all the charm of Akita.
