Kegon Falls is truly powerful, with water plunging down from high above. The view is absolutely spectacular.

The surrounding natural setting is beautiful, and the air feels fresh. It’s a famous Nikko attraction you shouldn’t miss.

Compared to Fukuroda Falls, the flow here feels more concentrated and powerful.

Even viewing from the observation deck at a distance, the thunderous roar is seriously impressive. It’s hard to believe this force comes from the calm waters of Lake Chuzenji!

When the glaciers melt in spring, the water volume increases and the waterfall becomes even more majestic.

It's really cool in the fall, and the negative ions from the waterfall feel so refreshing.

I recommend spending a little money to take the elevator down to the platform and see the waterfall up close. It's an amazing way to feel the power of nature.

One of Japan's three most famous waterfalls. You can take an elevator down for a closer look, but there's an extra fee. You can still see it from above, but it's not quite as impressive as being up close.

I was worried about rain before coming, but when I arrived, the sky was perfectly clear and everything looked so cheerful. I got really lucky! 😁

Seeing the waterfall from the observation deck above and taking the elevator down for a closer look are totally different experiences.
