Located in a corner of Kiba Park, the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo has spacious interiors and is surrounded by lush greenery. The comfortable, relaxed setting makes it a great place for an art-focused outing.

The museum frequently hosts major international exhibitions and various special exhibitions. Each visit offers the chance to see art in different styles, and you might even come across a surprising work that catches your eye and leaves a lasting impression!

The exhibition I visited this time seemed quite popular. Even on a weekday afternoon, I had to wait in line for about 20 minutes to buy a ticket, which really showed just how popular it was!

If you’re planning to visit, I recommend allowing some extra time for waiting in line and viewing the exhibits so your schedule doesn’t feel too rushed. After exploring the museum, you can also take a walk through Kiba Park and enjoy a rare bit of greenery and tranquility in Tokyo.

There's a children's library built for kids, and they regularly hold unique themed exhibitions—really thoughtful! The sandwiches at the restaurant are also delicious. Highly recommended!
