The mall has quite a few clothing, general merchandise, household goods, and food stores, so you can take your time browsing and choosing things while getting a feel for the everyday lives of local people in Japan. Compared with shopping areas designed specifically for tourists, this kind of large shopping mall feels more like part of local life and can meet a variety of shopping needs all in one place. I stopped by YouMe Town Takamatsu during my trip and didn’t expect it to be such a paradise for shopping and food! From MUJI and GU to all kinds of household goods stores, there was so much to browse. You can also grab lunch at one of the restaurants and recharge for the rest of your trip. Don’t miss UNIQLO on the third floor either! It’s a great value for stocking up on basics and layering pieces all at once.

This is probably the biggest shopping mall in Takamatsu. It stays open pretty late, which is convenient. There’s a shuttle bus, but the service isn’t super frequent.
