Roadside Station Shodoshima Olive Park
This park is popular for its Mediterranean-like scenery and excellent facilities. There are many photo spots that make you want to take pictures, such as a white windmill perched on a hill overlooking the Seto Inland Sea and an English garden with approximately 120 varieties of herbs and roses in full bloom.
You can borrow a broom for free to take photos. Standing in front of the white windmill really feels like being in a movie scene. It’s one of Shodoshima’s most iconic photo spots.

Sanuki Specialty Honetsukidori Tanakaya
Keep a pin on Honetsukidori Tanakaya for your next Kagawa trip plans. Located near the approach to the famous Kotohira Shrine, the restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with private rooms and traditional tatami seating, making it a comfortable place to relax and enjoy your meal. There’s also plenty of room if planning for a larger group of even up to 50 people.
The smell when it hit the table should be illegal. Super strong garlic and pepper aroma, with the skin fried to a golden, slightly crispy finish. The meat inside is still fairly juicy, and from the very first bite you can tell it’s on the rich, heavy-flavor side.

Kimisarazu Tower
An observation tower rising from the summit of Ota Mountain Park in Kisarazu City. Built in 1992 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the city’s incorporation, this 28-meter-tall tower features a sword-shaped design topped with figures of Prince Yamatotakeru and his wife, Ototachibanahime, reaching out toward each other. This hill, tied to the tragic love legend of “Kimisarazu,” is also known as the “Forest of Love” and is cherished as a symbol of Kisarazu.
If you’re coming to the Kisarazu Outlet, this is an easy add-on since it’s not far away. The seaside walkway below the tower feels really relaxing, and it’s just right for a walk and a little sun.
