The Umeda Sky Building is one of Osaka's most iconic landmarks, and I was most excited to visit the Kuchu Teien Observatory for the city views. As the elevator climbed higher, the Osaka cityscape became more and more spectacular. From the observatory, you can look out over the densely packed buildings and roads, with a very expansive view. It's especially beautiful in the evening, from daylight to sunset and then the city lights coming on at night. Each time of day has its own charm.

Umeda Sky Building is one of Osaka’s must-visit landmarks! From the Kuchu Teien Observatory on the 40th floor, you get a 360-degree view over the entire city. The daytime views are wide open, and at night the lights are absolutely dazzling—so beautiful you won’t want to leave.

The glass-enclosed bridge and open-air observation deck have such a romantic vibe. Whether you’re on a date or traveling on your own, it’s definitely worth adding to your itinerary to enjoy Osaka’s most captivating skyline. It’s sure to be an unforgettable memory from the trip.

We visited a lot of places on this trip, and there were also many antique cars on display at the station.

We took the elevator straight up to the 40th-floor observatory. The view from up there is stunning! After that, we went down to the 39th floor, where there are lots of souvenirs to buy and a café to relax in. Visiting here was totally worth it!

Even just riding the elevator up gives you some amazing views.

The two escalators that go straight up to the observation floor are super stylish, and riding them is actually pretty thrilling.

This is the most iconic building in the Umeda area. The observatory offers amazing views of Osaka's vibrant nightscape. There's also a food court downstairs with all kinds of Japanese cuisine, so you won't feel lonely at night.

After visiting, I really felt it was worth it!
