All Reviews of 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa

When visiting Kanazawa, a city of art, of course you have to experience this modern museum. There are quite a few art installations and interactive exhibits inside, but if you don't buy a ticket to enter the galleries, there really isn't that much to see. I was also looking forward to the famous “Swimming Pool,” but entry is only available until 4 p.m. After that, you can only view it from outside or walk around the perimeter. You can finish seeing everything in about half an hour. The architecture is very distinctive, so it's still worth stopping by if you're in Kanazawa!

Many of the exhibitions are designed to be very interactive, encouraging everyone to participate instead of just looking. It's more than just a viewing experience.

This museum is really fun and full of contemporary art. Definitely worth a visit.

The way they use light and space here is really interesting. It's a pretty impressive place.

The installation art swimming pool is really something! It separates the pool into upper and lower sections, making it look so real that you might get fooled. The visual effect is amazing. No wonder it's such a popular spot for social media photos.

You don't necessarily need to buy a ticket to go inside—the architecture outside is so interesting, you could spend a long time just admiring it.
